Kogi shuts down markets

Few days after Governor Yahaya Bello announced measures including restriction of large social gatherings to contain the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Kogi State enforcement team shut down the Lokoja International market Tuesday, being market day.
Deputy Health Minister Alex Abban who confirmed the death to Accra based Citi News noted that- “The information I got from the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service is that that person [the Lebanese man] has died. He died today.”
