Human Rights Watch (HRW) criticised a Morocco court on Wednesday for sentencing a prominent journalist to three years in prison on a "dubious charge" relating to a northern protest movement.

Morocco jails protest leaders for up to 20 years

Leaders of a Moroccan protest movement were sentenced to up to 20 years in prison late on Tuesday over their roles in demonstrations that rocked the north of the country in 2016.
