A former Trade Union Congress president, Peter Esele, said the recent announcement of increment in fuel pump price by Petroleum Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) showed that the federal government is still subsidising petrol.
The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) Monday alerted the government to the rising rates its members were getting petrol products at the depots, noting that the situation may lead to nationwide scarcity if not resolved by the authorities.
