Shiites: Kaduna goes to appeal court on Zaria clashes

Dissatisfied with the discharge and acquittal of Zakzaky’s disciples by a court in Kaduna on Friday, the Kaduna State Government said it will appeal the acquittal of the defendants in the State versus Mahdi Munkaila and 91 others, one of the cases arising from the Zaria clashes of December 2015.
In a statement by its National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko and the National Media Affairs Director, Miss Zainab Yusuf, HURIWA alleged that some lawmakers were conniving with armed terrorists to introduce “satanic legislation.”
