NNPC security guards protest non-payment of salaries

Private security guards attached to the National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) and who protect oil pipelines from Lokaja to Kaduna, on Thursday staged a peaceful protest against the non-payment of 22 months’ salary arrears.

The Nigerian Police Force the Nigerian Army on Friday announced that they have resolved the conflict that ensued between them during the governorship and House of Assembly election in Rivers State.
