PDP wins Oyo council election

The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has declared Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as winner of 32 out of the 33 councils in the local governments elections held in Oyo State on Saturday.
Ahead of 2023 general elections, a member of House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju federal constituency of Oyo state, Hon. Shina Peller, has said that, the current political parties in Nigeria should be restructured in such a way to produce credible leaders from 8,809 wards in the country.
