Civil society group wants court to stop Shiite group from publishing book

A civil society organisation, Centre for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJET), has prayed the Kaduna State High Court to stop the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) from publishing a book on its 2015 clash with the Nigerian Army.

One passerby was killed when the police allegedly fired gunshots and tear gas canisters to disperse a protest by members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) otherwise known as Shi’ites around Berger area of Wuse in Abuja.
