Operatives of Oyo State Security Network Agency comprising Amotekun Corps collaborating with Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) in the early hours of Thursday apprehended six suspected bandits at Kajola local government area of the state while on their joint routine patrol along two separate routes within the council.
Narrating how the feat was achieved, ASP Mohammed Jalige, Kaduna Police Command spokesperson said on Fridat afternoon, gunmen suspected to be bandits blocked Buruku Birnin Gwari Road around Unguwan Yako forest in an attempt to kidnap occupants of two Volkswagen salon cars.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said this in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna. Jalige said that on April 9 at about 1525hours, gunmen suspected to be bandits blocked Buruku Birnin Gwari Road around Unguwan Yako forest in an attempt to kidnap occupants of two Volkswagen salon cars.
