Abuja crash: Tears, emotions as NAF buries seven slain personnel

Flight Lieutenant Haruna Gadzama, Flight Lieutenant Henry Piyo, Flying Officer Michael Okpara, Warrant Officer Bassey Etim, Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi, Sergeant Ugochukwu Oluka, and Aircraftman Adewale Johnson died on Sunday, 21 February 21 in Abuja while on active duty in service to their Fatherland.

NAF plane crash victims for burial Thursday

On Thursday, seven Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers killed in Sunday’s air crash at Abuja will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery, Airport Road, in the Lugbe area of the Federal Capital.

Abuja crash: NAF releases names of personnel in ill-fated plane

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), earlier today, 21 February 2021, confirmed that one of its aircraft, a Beechcraft KingAir B350i (NAF 201), crashed while returning to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja after reporting engine failure enroute Minna, where it was scheduled to conduct surveillance missions over Niger State and its environs in connection with the concerted efforts to secure the release of the students/staff abducted from the Government Science College Kagara, Niger State.
