PDP reacts Cross River REC’s resignation to join partisan politics

Following the resignation of Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Cross River, Mr Frankland Briyai, to join partisan politics, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called for a clean up of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Uyo, on Monday, ordered INEC to allow the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Mr Nsima Ekere, to inspect all election materials used during the March 9 Governorship Election.
