Over 21,000 criminal suspects arrested by police in 2020

During a review of the scorecard of police operations on Monday, January 11, 2021, the Police boss said 3,347 firearms, 133,496 ammunition, and 960 stolen vehicles were recovered from criminal suspects.

Nigeria’s police chief assures of improved security in 2021

The IGP stressed that the Force will be unrelenting in the fight against all forms of crimes especially kidnapping, armed robbery, banditry, cultism, cybercrime, Sexual/Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), amongst others in the country in the year 2021.

Nigeria police chief approves deployment of five newly promoted deputy chiefs

The Inspector General of Police (I-G), Mr Mohammed Adamu, has approved the deployment of the five newly promoted Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) to departments of the force.
