The Anambra State Football Association (AnSFA) Election Petition Appeals Committee, upholding the Oct. 30 elections into the association board, has ordered elections to fill the vacant positions within 14 days with effect from Nov. 16.

According to a communique of the congress signed by a three-member Communique Drafting Committee, and and made available to newsmen, the elections into both the board of AnSFA and local government football associations on October 29th and 30th 2020 respectively were ratified.
President-General, Emeritus Professor Banji Akintoye, said that the decision for change of name was unanimously adopted by delegates of 87 Yoruba Socio-Cultural and Self-Determination Groups within Nigeria and 126 countries.
