Lagos government begins identification of Otedola Bridge tanker explosion victims

The Lagos state government says it has commenced the identification of the victims of a petrol tanker explosion that took place at Otedola Bridge, Berger, on Thursday.

The Lagos State Government is perfecting plans to prosecute the owner and driver of the ill-fated fuel tanker which exploded last Thursday on Otedola Bridge inward Ojodu Berger along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the State’s Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, said on Monday.

Following the tragic tanker explosion on Otedola Bridge inward Ojodu Berger along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway which claimed lives and property, the Lagos State Government on Sunday restricted movement of Fuel Tankers to designated trailer route going forward.
