Twitter has placed sharing restrictions on a tweet from President Donald Trump, setting up a high-profile standoff between the president and the platform in the aftermath of Election Day. Facebook has added labels to the president’s posts, saying the final vote count isn’t in yet.

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in a statement Friday morning.
