The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Saturday’s governorship election in Plateau and Adamawa States inconclusive.
The incumbent governor and candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has taking the lead, after ten out of the seventeen LGAs were declared at the Governorship Collation Centre, in Jos, the state capital.
Similarly, eight CPs are also posted to Benue State to supervise eight local government areas. In the same vein, six CPs are deployed to Plateau to supervise six local government areas, while two CPs are deployed to Imo State to supervise two local government areas.
According to the state collation officer, Anande Richard, a professor, Abubakar polled 548,665 to defeat Muhammadu Buhari who scored 468,555 in the 17 LGAs of the state.
