Abuja residents hail drop in price of petrol

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Wednesday hailed the reduction in the pump price of petrol by some filling stations across the FCT.

Petrol now N130/litre at depots, N142/litre at stations – NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has said the ex-depot price of petrol has dropped from N138 to N133.28 per litre in most of its depots, indicating a gain of N4.72 for marketers.

Marketers fault NNPC on crash of fuel price

The corporation said a national survey by its oil and gas forum indicated that in the last few weeks, the price of petrol had fallen steadily from N145 per litre to between N143 and N142 per litre in some stations across the country.
