The gunmen who kidnapped two Chinese expatriates at a gold mining site in Osun State, on Monday, have demanded a ransom of N10 million for their release.
Osun state Police Command on Tuesday confirmed the abduction of two Chinese expatriates, Zhao Juan, 33, and one Wen, 50 at a mining site in the state.
Police and local hunters have commenced a manhunt for abductors of three passengers including one simply identified as Usman, said to be a brother of Seriki Hausa of Iyere town, along Ife-Ilesa Expressway in Osun State.
The younger brother of Seriki of Hausa Community, identified as Usman, and two others abducted along the Ilesha/Ife expressway have regained freedom.
