Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hajia Aisha Ahman Pategi, has resigned from the cabinet of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Hajia Ahman Pategi who initially was commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs before she was redeployed to Special Duties, said in a statement on Friday that “effective from today, Friday 28th August, 2020, I humbly wish to formally announce my resignation from the cabinet of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.”

Special Adviser to Kwara State governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, on Health Matters, Professor Wale Suleiman, has resigned his appointment from the government.

Kwara governor reshuffles cabinet

Those affected are the Commissioner for Communication, Olanrewaju Murtala, who was moved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, while the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Harriet Adenike Afolabi Oshatimehin replaced Murtala in the Ministry of Communication.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded the names of four women to the State House of Assembly as commissioner-nominees, including a 26-year-old Joana Nnazua Kolo from Edu local government area of the state.
