Abducted UNIMAID lecturer writes family from Boko Haram captivity

One of the four University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) lecturers, Dr. Yusuf Solomon Nehemiah, abducted by suspected Boko Haram terrorists at Borno Yesu, along Gubio, Magumeri road in northern Borno has written his wife, directing her to name his new born male child after his father, Nehemiah.

82 Boko Haram members killed, 313 arrested in Borno – Gen. Attahiru

Theatre Commander, Command and Control Centre, Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, on Wednesday said, the military had killed 82 Boko Haram terrorists, cleared 630 settlements and rescued 468 persons abducted by the terrorists group within the last one month.
