Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong says the team is hungry and ready for redemption after their shambolic showing against Sierra Leone on Friday.

The three-time African champions were held to a 4-4 draw by the visitors at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

The Super Eagles led 4-0 before the Leone Stars rallied back to earn a share of the spoils.

The two teams will do battle again on Tuesday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown.

Troost-Ekong insists the players will go all out for a win in the game.

It is our Naija spirit to overcome and succeed. Hungry and ready for redemption tuesday! 💪🏽🇳🇬 🦅,” Troost-Ekong tweeted.
