Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is keen for action to restart in the English Premier League and insisted that the squad is in good physical shape despite the coronavirus lockdown.
The Premier League was suspended in mid-March due to the spread of coronavirus.
With a provisional date of 17 July now set for the Premier League’s return, Ndidi is confident that Leicester will be ready to return to their domestic campaign – so long as all safety requirements are met.
“I would say we’re ready because even during the lockdown, everyone was working at home,”the Nigeria international told LCFC TV via webcam.
“So, we’re always ready and we’ll just see what comes next.
“We’re just working hard. Everyone is keeping fit, working hard and the mentality is great, so we’ll just see what comes in the coming days.”
