Napoli have confirmed the signing of Nigerian international forward Victor Osimhen from Lille.

Victor Osimhen’s former agent Jean-Gérard Benoit Czajka, has threatened legal redress over his unceremonious sack by the Nigerian in the wake of the negotiation between Napoli and Lille.

Czajka, in an interview with, spoke about the whole proceedings in the protracted transfer of the Super Eagles striker from Losc Lille to Napoli, explaining how he was disengaged as the player’s representative. He, however, remains adamant on going to court to seek justice.

He said that his lawyers “have all the documents on the work done” promising not to accept any out of court settlement.

In the interview translated into English, Czajka said, “We have always worked honestly with Victor, which many agents cannot say, we are within our rights.

“And if we have to go to court to keep face, we’ll go … I would add that in my opinion, we do not go before an organization as serious as the DNCG without providing evidence that the operation of “flagship” sale of the summer will be formalized.

“We are quiet. My lawyers have all the documents on the work done. I will therefore assert my rights in court. Afterwards, it is very likely that I can be offered an arrangement, which I will not accept.”

Another reason given by him is that this is not the first time what happened to him had happened and it would not be the last time. But for the sake of other agents who weren’t financially buoyant, he would fight the case to the end in order to stop such in the future.

“This isn’t the first time this has happened in football, and it won’t be the last time though. I am lucky to be a structured person and to have a little resources, so I will go to the end, if only for all these agents who are victims of similar situations but who cannot defend themselves and who lose the fruit of all their labor for years …”
