Loris Karius’ footballing career keeps on going downhill. He is currently on loan at Union Berlin, but the Germans want him to send him back to Liverpool in January.
Loris Karius could return to Liverpool. Not because of his good performance out on loan, but because Union Berlin want to end the German keeper’s loan spell early.
‘The Sun’ says that the Bundesliga outfit’s plan is to send Karius back to Anfield. He is unable to get into the team there as Alisson is the number one goalie and Adrian San Miguel the back up option.
It would not be the first time Karius’ contract at a club ends prematurely. Last May, before the end of the 2019-20 campaign, the goalkeeper left Besiktas earlier than planned.
Karius has been unable to get back to his best after what happened in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid, More proof of that would be him leaving Union Berlin in January.
