Go Round FC head coach Willy Udube has described Kano Pillars as one of the best clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
This comes after Go Round secured a narrow 2-1 over Pillars in a league encounter at the packed Krisdera Hotel Stadium on Wednesday.
“Kano Pillars is one of the best teams we have in the NPFL. Actually, we lost at away (Akwa United) and when we came back,” Udube said.
“I told my players that we just had to redeem ourselves and despite the fact that they are good, that we must win and luckily we had the result.
Go Round had previously drawn twice at home against FC Ifeanyiubah (0-0) and Kada City (0-0) and another home draw would have been disastrous for the team.
However, Udube says he was not under pressure at any time before or during the game.
“I was not under pressure because if I am under pressure, I will not do the right thing,” he continued.
“I try as much as possible to be a man because each time I am under pressure I regret it.”
