Chelsea returnee, Romelu Lukaku, has proved his worth again as he scored against Arsenal in just 15 minutes to their Premier League 2-0 win encounter at the Emirates on Sunday.
Lukaku, who was drafted straight into the starting line-up by Thomas Tuchel, got on the end of Reece James’ cross before tapping the ball home from close range.
The Belgian received a warm welcome from the Blues fans before kick-off and sent them into delirium with the opening goal in north London.
This, however, isn’t the first time he has scored on his first appearance after signing for a new team, having done so at his four previous clubs.
What an ominous moment that is for the rest of the Premier League.
After 20 minutes of the keenly contested match, Reece James increased the tally for Chelsea with the overwhelming support from Mason Mount.
The home side fought back from the left via the Kieran Tierney-Bukayo Saka combination but their best was not good enough to rattle the formidable Chelsea.
Torrential rain also had a full day as the crowd shouted their voice to the heavens in frustration of Arsenal’s poor outing.
A huge cheer for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who replaces Bukayo Saka. Well, if anyone in this Gunners side can do something to change the outcome of this game.
