PSG considered Mo Salah as Kylian Mbappe’s replacement

According to the Mirror, Mohamed Salah is set to miss Liverpool’s clash against top of the league Leicester on Sunday due to the Premier League’s self-isolation rules.

Kylian Mbappe’s failed signing for Real Madrid would have shaken the world of football. PSG already had his replacement in mind.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side already contacted Mohamed Salah according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist talked about PSG’s approach on Liverpool’s star on Rio Ferdinand’s Youtube channel. He reported that PSG was really interested in the winger if Mbappe left the club.

The French team, however, got a negative answer from the player, who is already thinking about signing a new contract with the ‘Reds’.

Salah’s contract ends in 2023. If Mbappe finally leaves in 2022 and Salah hasn’t signed a contract with Liverpool yet, then he could consider the option of joining Messi and Neymar at Parc des Princes.
