PSG chief planning pre-contract for Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba is set to stay with Manchester United this season as his deal runs down.

PSG chief Leonardo plans to make a formal move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in January.

Off contract next summer, Pogba will be free to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club from January 1.

Real Madrid and former club Juventus have been in contact with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, over the summer. However, Tuttosport says PSG are favourites to sign the midfielder.

Pogba has spoken directly with Leonardo and also PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi this summer and is open to returning home to Paris.

The prospect of joining a team that also counts on Neymar, Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos is attractive to Pogba.
