According to Portsmouth, Haji Mnoga’s result was confirmed a few hours after James Bolton, Andy Cannon and Sean Raggett.
All players and first-team staff were tested earlier in the week and the two-time FA Cup champions claimed they are awaiting outcomes of 10 more tests.
“After receiving results from another batch of tests, Portsmouth Football Club can confirm that Haji Mnoga has tested positive for coronavirus. Public Health England have been notified,” the club wrote on their website.
“This follows the earlier news that James Bolton, Andy Cannon and Sean Raggett also tested positive for the virus.
“The four players are currently self-isolating in accordance with government guidelines and we send our best wishes to all of them.”
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Mnoga has taken to social media to appreciate everyone for their kind words, while assuring that he is following the given procedure.
“Thank you everyone for your messages. Me and my family are all well and are following the correct protocol. Hope everyone stays safe.”
He has featured just once for the Fratton Park giants this term against Walsall in the Leasing .com Trophy.
