Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood have been released from the England squad to face Denmark on Tuesday.
The pair have been accused of inviting girls back to their hotel room after the Three Lions win over Iceland at the weekend.
The FA are currently investigating the accusation but manager Gareth Southgate has confirmed that the pair will not be travelling to Copenhagen with the rest of the group.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Denmark game, Southgate said: “No other members of our party have been in contact with those two players.
“They couldn’t join us for breakfast and didn’t go to training.
“We’ve followed all the guidelines, it’s a very serious situation.”
Foden and Greenwood now face an uncertain few days as it’s as yet unclear whether the duo will have to quarantine together in the UK.
