Moses Simon has said he welcomes the stiff competition Samuel Kalu and Samuel Chukwueze will bring to the Super Eagles.
Both Kalu and Chukwueze have made good first impressions in Super Eagles jerseys and will most certainly battle Moses Simon for first-team places in the national team.
“It’s a healthy competition and good for the team,” CD Levante winger Moses Simon declared.
“When I first came to the Super Eagles I met the likes of Ahmed Musa, Victor Moses in the Super Eagles and they gave me all the support I needed in the team.
“I am also doing same to Samuel Kalu and Samuel Chukwueze, they came into the team like me and they are doing well at their respective clubs.”
Injury caused Moses Simon to miss the World Cup in Russia in the summer and he said he is now looking forward to his first AFCON next year.
“I am looking forward to the Nations Cup after I missed out in the World Cup due to injury,” he said.
