Niger Tornadoes new signing Michael Otuke, has revealed he’s happy to join to the club, but admits it was difficult to leave Nigeria National League side Kada City.

Otuke signed a two year contract with the Bernard Ogbe side in the current Nigeria professional football league transfer window, having spent last season with Kaduna based NNL side Kada City.

The combative midfielder said that he’s delighted to join the Ikon Allah boys after a long transfer tussle with Kada City.

“Actually, I really can’t express how I’m feeling to have joined Niger Tornadoes, it was a bit hard to secure the transfer but I’m happy it happened at the end but my documents are with Kada City and I hope they will release it to my new club very soon.”

Otuke, added that he wIll miss his Kada City teammates and wish them good luck in the coming NNL super eight playoff.

“I’m going to miss the boys, we are one family but I have to move on with my career, though it was hard to leave the team. I wish them good luck,“ he concluded.
