Arsenal’s Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi has expressed his joy after his side’s victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday.
The Gunners came from a goal down (scored by the Blues’ Victor Moses) to level the game at 1-1, before triumphing 4-1 on post-match penalties.
Iwobi played 67 minutes for Arsene Wenger’s side and impressed with his pace and penetration, before making way for Theo Walcott.
The 21-year-old Super Eagles star took to Twitter to express his happiness after the triumph over their London rivals.
Iwobi will hope to retain his place in Arsenal’s starting line-up ahead of the opening 2017/18 Premier League match against Leicester City on Friday.
