Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru will be on the sidelines for the next two weeks after getting injured in training for French Ligue 1 side, Monaco.

Nigeria winger Henry Onyekuru rejoined Ligue 1 club Monaco on Tuesday ahead of the new season.

Onyekuru linked up with Monaco from Premier League outfit Everton last summer but struggled to secure regular playing time at the club.

The 23-year-old made four league appearances and bagged one assist for the principality club before he was loaned out to Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray in January.

He scored one goal and provided two assists in 10 league appearances for Galatasaray.

Onyekuru will now look to impress new Monaco manager Niko Kovac after a difficult spell under Leonardo Jardim.
