Coach of NPFL side Heartland FC Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed his deep concern about his team despite the Owerri side’s 1-0 win over Jigawa Golden stars incidentally been their first win of the league season coming on match day 5.

Heartland FC boss Fidelis Ilechukwu has revealed the strong feeling of nostalgia on the drama that characterizes the regular NPFL season after four months out of normal coaching job.

Ilechukwu said it’s been a very boring period and can only recall the normal feeling during the league season and how he thinks, plan and strategize while also monitoring other opponents in the season.

“I miss the league, I miss the league seriously even my own drama itself. When you end your match, you want to know the results of other teams knowing those that lost and those that won and how it affects where you are on the table the pressure and everything.”
