Gervinho notched his third goal of the season while William Troost-Ekong failed to help Udinese from going down 3-1 to Parma in a Serie A game on Sunday.
After delivering solid defensive performances in their 1-0 victory over AC Milan last weekend, the Nigeria international, who was handed his third appearance against the Canaries, failed to help his keep a clean sheet at Dacia Arena.
Udinese started the game impressively after Kevin Lasagna opened the scoring in the 17th minute of the encounter.
Gervinho then levelled for his side after benefitting from Dejan Kulusevski’s assist two minutes before the half-time break.
In the 59th minute, Riccardo Gagliolo gave Roberto D’Aversa’s men the lead for the first time in the game before Roberto Inglese sealed the victory 15 minutes before time.
Troost-Ekong was on parade for the duration of the game along with former Arsenal winger Gervinho while Ivorian Seko Fofana was introduced in the 55th minute for the Yellow and Blues.
With the result, Udinese dropped to the seventh spot on the table while Parma climbed to the 10th position.
In their next league fixtures, Udinese will try Inter Milan for size and Parma will play host to Cagliari on September 14.
