Gernot Rohr has revealed that goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi and Theophilus Afelokhai will share the goalkeeping duties against Uganda today in Asaba.
South Africa-based Akpeyi will start in goal this afternoon, before Enyimba shot stopper Afelokhai takes over for the second half.
It will therefore be a litmus test for the two goalkeepers as they aim to stake their claim in the Super Eagles squad.
It is a chance for the goalkeepers to justify their call-ups and possibly challenge for the No 1 shirt currently held by Francis Uzoho with Ikechukwu Ezenwa as deputy.
Interestingly, Akpeyi and Afelokhai were the two goalkeepers in 2015 against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa with Akpeyi manning the post.
Rohr also said Villarreal youngster Samuel Chukwueze will make his debut and Victor Osimhen will also feature after his recent goals for Belgian club Sporting Charleroi.
