Frank Lampard has set his sights on capping an impressive first season as Chelsea manager by leading the Blues to FA Cup glory against Arsenal on Saturday.

Manager Frank Lampard has ordered Chelsea, board, to sign 23-year-old defender from fellow Premier League rival, according to report.

Lampard is keen on strengthening the backline and has urged the board to bring in Leicester defender Ben Chilwell this summer.

Chelsea has made some effort in the pst to sign the defender but the asking price for the left full-back is way off what the Blues can afford.

Leicester City is not interested in selling the defender and had rejected offers from the four top clubs in England.

The report adds that Leicester is under no pressure to sell the 23-year-old full-back despite Brendan Rodgers’ side missing out on a place in next season’s Champions League.

Chelsea is also linked with FC Porto Alexis Telless and Ajax Nicolas Tagliafico for possible signings after Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri failed to leave up to the billings.
