Moise Kean is in big trouble with Everton after the striker reportedly flouted coronavirus lockdown measures.
According to the Daily Star, Kean recently threw a party at his Cheshire home and posted videos to a private Snapchat group.
And Everton have now released an official statement strongly condemning the Italian international’s actions.
“Everton Football Club was appalled to learn of an incident in which a first team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.
“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.
“Everton has regularly stressed the importance of following all the Government guidelines – including rules and advice for inside and outside of the home – through a series of official communications to all staff members, including players.
“The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice. The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.”
Last month, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker was forced to apologise after he and a friend hosted a party involving two sex workers, while Jack Grealish was fined by Aston Villa after being pictured at the scene of a traffic accident.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both also had to remind their squad of lockdown guidelines in recent weeks after players from both clubs were spotted hanging out or training in London parks.
