Czech Republic second division club FK Dukla Praha are delighted to secure the signing of Super Eagles attacker Sunday Faleye.
Faleye signed a three-year contract with the club on Thursday, following the expiration of his contract with Austrian second division side FC Wacker Innsbruck.
FK Dukla Praha Sporting Director, Jan Stanek has now explained why they decided to bring the former Shooting Stars player to the club.
Stanek revealed to the club’s website that the striker was signed in order to increase the attacking options in the squad.
“I ‘m very happy that we managed to catch the arrival of the first selected player, we are discussing with the others. We are happy to sign Sunday, it has very interesting advantages and preconditions.
“It increases our danger in attack, he is very strong in one on one situations. We sometimes lacked more courage in these moments in the autumn and Sunday should clearly help us.
“Most opponents defend against us, so we need players who can bring us an advantage,” he told the club’s website.
