Chelsea is prepared to bring back Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho to Premier League as the Blues step up their chase for the former Liverpool star.
Barcelona is willing to sell Coutinho at the end of the season after Bayern Munich has declared that they are not willing to sign the Brazilian on a permanent deal even if the asking price of €120m is reduced.
Barcelona is exploring the options of selling the Brazilian back to a Premier League club despite Barca coach Quique Setien informing directors he’d be happy work with the former Liverpool star next season.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City are all keen, with Coutinho favouring a move to the Blues.
Coutinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian has been in correspondence with Chelsea for some months about a move to London and Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is a huge fan of the ex-Inter Milan star.
