AEL Limassol and Cape Verde national team goalkeeper, Josimar Dias Vozinha, has rued the inability of his side to edge Nigeria to pick the ticket to the final round of world cup qualifiers after a stellar showing to deny Nigeria in Tuesday’s 1-1 matchday 6 draws at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos.

Vozinha in an interview with Brila, stressed that the game was tough as envisioned by virtue of the quality of the opposition they faced in the Super Eagles.

He added that would have been nice to win and qualify but that he can only hope the next generation of players in Cape Verde can exceed their effort and result posted in world cup qualifying.
