Wydad Casablanca stars Gabriel Okechukwu and Michael Babatunde have drummed up support for Enyimba ahead of tonight’s CAF Confederation Cup semifinal against Raja Casablanca in Morocco.
“We visited Enyimba at their hotel in Casablanca to show our support for them against Raja,” Okechukwu said.
“We wish them the best in this game.
“We hope they have a good outing today against our local rivals in Morocco Raja Casablanca.”
Okechukwu, who moved to Wydad on the back of his exploits with the CHAN Eagles in Morocco earlier this year, described the rivalry between his club and Raja as very fierce.
“It’s a local derby and always very tough, like Plateau United against Mighty Jets in Jos,” the former Akwa United striker explained.
