Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has said that the Senate on resumption of plenary will further probe the NNPC on diversion of dividends from the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG).

A socio-political pressure group linked to the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Sunday, stated its determination to mobilise over six million votes for Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the forthcoming election.

The group, known as Coalition of Saraki Advocates for Atiku (COSAA), made the vow at a media briefing to outline its strategies for mobilising votes for the presidential candidate in Abuja.

Speaking on behalf of COSAA, Ola Kolawole, who is the group’s national coordinator, noted that Atiku, having proven doubters wrong on the matters of his integrity by visiting the United States and returning unscathed, deserved all the support he could get to save Nigeria from its current leadership quagmire.

“Today, we are very proud to say that with the available database of our members, COSAA is set to deliver her Six million votes promised to PDP in 2019 general election.

“Evident is the end of argument, The Coalition of Saraki Advocates For Atiku applauds the recent visit of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to United States of America.

“It’s noteworthy that the recent visitation of Alhaji Atiku, the Waziri Adamawa and the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria hopefully to United States of America has cleared the air on the campaign of calumny and propaganda by the oppositions that he is on watch list of the United States of America.

“The leadership of COSAA, therefore, commends the presidential candidate of PDP. We see the visit as not just a tour visit but a sign of well preparedness to show the world that he is set to reposition Nigeria economically and get the country working again where there will be employment opportunities, quality education and improve in standard of living of Nigerians,” the group said.
