The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has accused the Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Ottos, of insubordination.
“We have been monitoring his actions for some times now; he keeps exhibiting high level of disloyalty to the state government. We shall call him to order,” the Speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, said in Lafia on Saturday.
He particularly accused Ottos of “paying more allegiance to the sacked former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu-Tijani, while ignoring the state government.”
“We are quite aware of his actions and inaction; we are going to take appropriate actions and position soon.
“On Friday in Akwanga, the chairman mobilised praise singers and drummers to celebrate the victory of the former SSG in court,” he said.
Newsmen learnt that the council boss was at the High Court, Akwanga on Aug. 7, when the court nullified the indictment of the former SSG over alleged misappropriation of N248.5m school project funds.
