As the 2010 general elections draw closer, a political support group, the Buhari, Osinbajo Hope Movement (BOHM), has said that it has constituted grassroots mobilisation teams in different parts of the country to ensure the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Speaking in Lagos, at the weekend, Seyi Bamigbade, President-General of the group, said it decided to set up the teams to explain to Nigerians irrespective of their location why they should re-elect President Buhari for a second term in office.
He urged the group’s members to embark on mass grassroots mobilisation of Nigerians to vote for the victory of Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and his running mate, Professor Osinbajo.
Bamigbade, who had earlier addressed the meeting of the group in Abuja, said BOHM was one of the support groups working to ensure that Buhari and Osinbajo were re-elected.
According to him, the association would do everything within the laws of the land to mobilise over 80 million Nigerians to vote for Buhari/Osinbajo ticket in 2019.
