Scores of angry youths who took part in the looting spree of both public and private business premises have been arrested by security operatives in the state.
They were arrested at different locations while running away with their loots on their heads.
As at the time of filing this report, the number of arrested persons was not certain as security operatives have continued searching the nooks and crannies of the state for the suspects and their loots.
Though normalcy has returned to major streets of Osogbo, the state capital and major towns, following the deployment of military and other security operatives such as men of the DSS and few police men.
The state government also said that the 24 hours curfew imposed on residents is still intact, adding that vehicular movement remains prohibited for the period of curfew.
Those that were arrested were taken to an unknown place for further investigation.
As at the time of filing this report, armed soldiers were seen in strategic locations to maintain law and order and compliance with curfew directive by the government.
As a result of curfew, many churches were shut for worshippers for Sunday service as many stay indoor.
