The Osun State Government has hailed former Governor Rauf Aregbesola, who turned 63 years on Monday, May 25, 2020.
This is even as Governor Adegboyega Oyetola expressed optimism that the residents of the state would continue to benefit and make reference to Aregbesola’s wealth of experience and knowledge in the state.
Oyetola, who made the remarks in a statement issued to congratulate his predecessor, now Minister of Interior, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary, lauded the former governor of the state for his service to Osun.
Oyetola’s statement, issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, specially thanked Aregbesoka for accepting to serve on the state’s Food and Relief Committee despite his tight schedule.
He said the state would always be ready to benefit from his knowledge and wealth of experience.
“As you clock 63, I join your family, friends and political associates to thank Almighty Allah for your life.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Osun State, I congratulate you on your birthday, and I pray that the Almighty Allah will perfect all that concerns you in life.”
