Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Tomi Coker, has hinted that the present administration is determined to make the health sector attractive to both residents and non-residents in a way that will provide solutions to health issues

No fewer than 736 cases of coronavirus have been discharged in Ogun State, State government confirmed on its Facebook handle.

So far, in Ogun State, a total of 1,087 confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic have been recorded.

The state government said seven new cases were announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday night.


Likewise, 31 patients were given a clean bill of health after they tested negative for COVID-19.

It was gathered that the State is still managing 329 active cases as of Monday morning.

However, 22 fatalities have been recorded as a result of the virus.
