Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of a Lagos High Court sitting at Igbosere, yesterday, adjourned the arraignment of a lawyer, Kole Bello, and three others, to October 25 over alleged conspiracy and forgery.
Bello, alongside others — Chukwuka Victor, Friday Palmer and Osumah Terry — appeared before the court following a bench warrant that was earlier issued for their arrest on July 10.
However, their arraignment was stalled following the prosecution’s inability to present the case file.
The Lagos State prosecution counsel, Mr. R. O. Aroyewun, told Justice Taiwo that there were new developments.
Meanwhile, counsel to the defendants, Mr. F. O. Udokeoroh, in an application urged the court to grant the second to fourth defendants bail. Justice Taiwo granted the defendants, except Bello, N1 million bail with two sureties in like sum.
She said one of the sureties must be a Grade Level 12 officer with Lagos State government and the second must be a blood relation, and adjourned their arraign-ment till October 25.
