Liquorose has emerged as the 10th Head of the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition House and granted immunity from the nomination for possible eviction ahead of Sunday.
Liquorose becomes the first Shine Ya Eye housemate to get the HOH title twice.
She had won it in Week 5.
Liquorose was chosen by Emmanuel after he emerged victorious after a tie with Cross at the arena for the Ultimate Veto Power’ game on Monday.
Emmanuel also chose Cross as Deputy Head of House.
The Ultimate Veto Power game for Week 9 was different.
It was a whole new task that required the housemates to gather as many points as possible.
According to instructions from Big Brother, all the housemates took turns to determine the 10th HoH in the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye edition.
Just like week six – Big Brother introduced a new game to determine the 10th Head Of House.
The game had four different lanes with different hurdles and points.
Housemates were to carry out at least one or all within an allocated time of five seconds.
All nine housemates, including the current Head Of House, Whitemoney, took turns in participating in the game at the kick-off.
Emmanuel eventually won the game and he secured a place for himself in the finale.
Liquorose and Cross, who will be enjoying the luxury of the HOH lounge, have also secured a place in the finale.
With this development, Liquorose heads the House into the ninth week’s tasks and activities.
In a new twist, Big Brother announced that the six remaining unsuccessful housemates at the Ultimate Veto Power game are all up for eviction.
As usual, the Head of House title comes with some extra privileges.
Liquorose gets to sit on the throne-like HoH chair, gets information directly from Big Brother, and reads out the day’s task to the other housemates.
This privilege was one of the reasons the HoH challenge is usually hotly contested by all housemates.
